African Weeks

 

We have had a really exciting time in school over the past couple of weeks: making mud huts; creating maasai jewellery; drumming, singing, dancing etc.  I know the children have really enjoyed the work they have been doing on Kenya.   We were very fortunate in that we had a visit from Canon Mma Rhoda Lusaka on Tuesday.  She is visiting the UK from a small rural community in Bungoma (our twin Diocese in Kenya ).  She spoke to the children in assembly and then visited them in their classrooms throughout the morning.  It was fascinating listening to her experiences and those of the children in her Diocese.
